Front Desk Receptionist

As the first person our students see, you will set the tone for our studio. Therefore, we are looking for someone with excellent personal skills and a warm demeanor. Along with making our students feel welcome, you’ll also be responsible for handling incoming calls as well as making calls, scheduling appointments, handling email correspondence, preparing reports, maintaining class records, accepting payments from clients. Must be good with kids!

Qualifications:

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with clients and staff.
Advance knowledge of computers and other office equipment.
Knowledge of dance and dance instruction is a plus.
Previous experience in this field is preferred.

Compensation:

Hourly rate, depending upon experience.

Required education:

High school or higher

Studio Manager

Will be responsible for day to day running the studio

Main responsibilities:

Provide customer service and exceptional hospitality to members and guests
Working with business entities/community to promote different dance programs offered at the studio
Attract new students through sales and marketing
Provide training to staff
Handling issues and concerns in a positive and timely manner
Generate/Update handbooks & training guides
Coordinating class schedule and maintaining classes to start and finish on time
Managing attendance, accepting payments

Qualifications:

Passion for arts
Experience in commercial dance world is a must
Strong and concise communication skills, both oral and written
Well organized with great attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Ability to act with diplomacy and patience under pressure
Punctual, reliable and dedicated and familiarity with an office environment
Two+ years of administrative experience required
